"Ewiro" is an old style Third Mesa Kachina
 that appears at various times during the year.  He often makes makes
 war on the Clowns when they get to wild and functions as a policeman.

He is usually referred to as "Lefty", because he is left handed.

Albin has carved this kachina as it appears now, somewhat different
 from the way it is represented in Kachinas, a Hopi artist documentary,
 by Barton Wright.
